KPMG and MetaDesign celebrate

The branding agency creates an exceptional brand experience for the auditing consultancy’s anniversary.

Exactly 100 years ago, KPMG, one of the world’s leading auditing consultancies, began offering its services in Switzerland. It has turned into a success story based on innovation and growth, and its anniversary is a cause for celebration.

For this occasion, MetaDesign, KPMG Switzerland’s branding partner for many years now, has prepared a broad-based campaign for both internal and external target groups. Under the motto “Inspiring Growth”, the campaign will build to a crescendo over the course of the year while serving to strengthen the brand.

It starts with a new type of timeline in the KPMG client magazine “Clarity” and in animated form on the website, showing important milestones in the company’s history embedded in their social context. Large-format posters at the Zürich Airport inform the business community of the anniversary. The “KPMG Inspiration Grant” will help to promote intelligent social and ecological ideas for the future. And all touchpoints will communicate that KMPG is more than just another global company.

That is also evident in the basic approach to this major event. In contrast to other anniversaries, the focus here is on looking ahead and honoring the people who give the company its strength: its employees. The motto “Inspiring Growth” is a call for personal development. One opportunity for this is the “Growth Generator”, a web-based platform for sharing personal projects and for motivating colleagues and clients to join in – or to start turning their own ideas into reality. The “Growth Generator” is also a fund-raising platform to collect money for outstanding projects supported by the “KPMG Inspiration Grant”.

Dominique Morel, the head of corporate communications, comments: “Together with MetaDesign we have found a motto that expresses our understanding of the brand today and that communicates that understanding in a credible, relevant and distinct manner.”
